Who's paying the big price of emotional pain?
You are! More precisely your body is. We experience an array of emotions every day – anything from happiness to sadness to extreme joy and even depression. Yes, each and every physical pain is directly linked to one’s emotions, state of mind and feelings. Regardless of the fact that scientists are still denying the connection between the body and the mind, the spirit and the emotions, these linkages are real and it would be wrong to ignore them.
Every now and then we are experiencing some kind of irrational pain. It happens unexpectedly and without and reason, filling our everyday life with discomfort, fatigue and psychological stress. Of course, in these situations we tend to look for a practical and appropriate explication without being overly emotional. There is a tendency to think that we are enduring bad influence from the outside world, but the reality is quite the opposite. We are causing our own condition. We are the source of every issue. Therefore, we may remedy it – we only have to be honest with ourselves.
One must know that each emotion creates a different feeling within the body: it releases different chemicals when we experience various things that make us happy or upset. Each chemical works to create a different environment within the body.
For example, when your brain releases serotonin, dopamine or oxytocin, you will feel good and happy. Conversely, when your body releases cortisol while you are stressed, you will have a totally different feeling. Let’s take a closer look and see what our emotions can actually do to us.
Pain areas and probable causes are:
Neck – Refusing to see other sides of the question. Stubbornness and inflexibility.
Shoulders – Represent our ability to carry our experiences in our life joyously. We make life a burden by our attitude.
Spine – (upper) Lack of emotional support. Feeling unloved. Holding back love.

(lower) Fear of money. Lack of financial support.

And remember, The Body Doesn’t Lie
